Ratskwah

A lone bard steps out of the night into the tavern. She sits herself down in the center of the room and begins to sing a tale... (How can she sing prose? you may ask, but that just shows her talent)

Many seasons ago Philip was born into the House of Demitri in the great Silver City of Tethys. Being of noble birth, Philip was sent to train with the Paladins of the Silver Legion. At the age of 15, Philip was inducted into the House of the Silver Knights, under the rising Star of Phoenix, and choose his battlename to be Hawkstar.

Under the guidance of the Archbishop of Tethys, Hawkstar went on a spiritual vision quest. Alone, he set out into the Great Salt Plane which bordered the Tethian Sea. During his journey, Hawkstar ran into a mischievous spirit of the Wyld, Kyote. Kyote told the young Paladin that it had the ability to remove all taints of evil from any soul, and would gladly do so for a drink of water, and a small bag of gold. Tempted, ever so slightly, Hawkstar lowered his guard enough that Kyote was able to rip Philips soul from his body, and in doing so, ripped it in half creating Philips alter ego, Ratskwah.

The two half souls, separated from their earthly body, were cursed to roam the earth. One, the incarnate of good, the other of evil. Ratskwah, the more devious of the two, soon learned of the ability to take over the bodies of the earthly denizens. Ratskwah soon claimed the body of a Sitha rogue. It was then he discovered an unusual side effect of his possession, his body no longer aged, and in essence, he had become immortal, and too this very day remains in the form of a Sitha rogue.

The whereabouts of his better half are shrouded in mystery, although the legends speak of a youthful dragon, born pure silver, and possessing only half a soul... But that is another story.

Without another word, the Bard vanishes into the night.
