The MUD we always wanted to play Milantha
Creation
When the world was yet young, and the shades had not yet soured the beauty of
Nosferatu's creation, Milantha came into being.
While walking through his beautiful creation one day, Nosferatu came upon a
dreadful sight. Lying in the thick green grass at his feet was a shapeless mass
of a being. It had no senses and no appendages. In short, it was alive but had
no purpose. Imagining all of the possiblities of form and purpose denied to this
pitiful being, Nosferatu felt ashamed and saddened. With these beautiful images
and sorrowful thoughts going through his conciousness, something strange and
unexpected happened to Nosferatu -- he wept. A single tear fell on the shapeless
mass.
Suddenly, the being began to double, then triple, then quadruple in size. When
it was as big as Nosferatu himself, the being exploded. When the debris setteld,
a new, perfectly formed being arose out of the middle of the mass of the
formless being and approached Nosferatu.
"I am Milantha," she said, and knelt before Nosferatu. "Thank you for giving me
this new form."
Realizing that his thoughts and tears had re-formed this creature into something
nearing the perfection of himself, Nosferatu gave the beautiful female something
he had reserved for few of his creatures: immortality and godhood.
Thus, Milantha came into being, not by Nosferatu's hand, but by his thoughts.
Personality
Milantha is above all compassionate. However, she is known for fits of
moodiness bordering on madness. When these fits possess her, it can be dangerous
for mortals to ask anything of her. Honesty is always appreciated by Milantha.
Milantha is the goddess of the race of sprites.
