The MUD we always wanted to play In every MUD the immortals of New Horizons have been involved in, there have been server issues and technical
problems over the years. Everything from a few glitches that cause the server to be unavailable for a few minutes to
full blown relocation. This has led to confusion from players wanting to connect in simple cases, up to complete loss of
contact from players who have missed the new address in the move to a new server.
All of this is why we've decided to set up some proper mailing lists this time around.
The first will be a very low traffic list used for announcements from immortals, such as if the MUD is offline for
any particular reason. Posting to the list is restricted to
immortals only, though we would hope that most players will subscribe themselves to the list.

The second list will be for general conversation and chatter, both IC and OOC. It is there for people to
frequent and have greater amounts of chatter. If you aren't a fan of mailing lists and consider them spammy, then avoid
subscribing to this list - though we still encourage you to join the above list. However, if you want to be part of the New Horizons community outside the MUD itself, then
feel free to subscribe.
