Maeve

Now most mortals do not realize just how similar an immortal's life is to their own. Yes, we live forever, but we also have responsibilities and hobbies.

A time came when one immortal could no longer bear the burden of their responsibilities, and thus left Kyderria without its overseer. This left the immortal ranks in utter chaos and started to affect the mortal world as well. Nosferatu, in his great wisdom, knew this situation had to be rectified quickly. He looked at all the immortals of this world and chose a relatively new god. Many could have done the job, some probably better than this young one. But she had a great love for the people of Kyderria, and a willingness to learn. She would become a good leader.

And so it was decreed that Mauve would oversee all of the immortal affairs for this world.

Time went on, and many things came to pass. The chronicles of Mauve were lost, and many forgot her. Nobody seems to know exactly what happened to her.

Several generations passed before one of the old ones saw what appeared to be her walking among the mortals. She had changed her name, but the grace and personage were the same. By now Nosferatu had left Kyderria within the capable hands of others. Some were not happy to see her return, but others were very happy. Unable to turn her back on the peoples she loved so greatly, she returned to her role as overseer.

A new time has begun, and new stories will be written. And now she watches over the New Horizons as Maeve, the Overseer.
