"The clash of steel rings in the background, providing an accompaniment to the beat of war drums. Shouts and screams pierce the air as soldiers cut each other down, blood splattering their shields and staining their torn and tattered uniforms.

Amidst the chaos of battle, a single man sits astride a giant war horse of at least twenty-two hands at the shoulder. A maniacal grin is plastered on his face, and his greatsword shines with the blood of more than a few enemies. He sits easily in his unwieldy steel armour, the substantial weight seeming to be little more of a burden to him than his own skin. Battle scars line his weathered, leathery skin, showing signs of battles past. A feral light shines in the man's eyes as he surveys t

The blast of war horns rips through the air as the opposing forces' reinforcements arrive. The knight lifts his gaze, and observes the ranks being filled with new soldiers. His grin grows wider as he contemplates the arrival of fresh blood; with a whoop and shout, and lifting his mammoth blade above his head, he charges straight for the enemy lines."

Knights live and die for the thrill of battle. They are the most competent fighters in single combat, but lack the subtlety of Rogues or the magic of a Mage or Cleric. Those best suited for the job of a Knight are those who don't mind taking the most direct of routes, even when the situation may call for another approach.

Knights begin with skill in the sword, and may attack twice per round in combat. Other weapon skills may be purchased for a low price.
