Dwarves

Of Kyderria

Dwarves do not exist anywhere within Kyderria. However, there is a race that makes its home in one of the cities that bears striking resemblance in terms of their appearance and abilities.

Of Kivekia

Ossaca's resident gold-diggers, the capitalistic dwarves go wherever the riches are to be made, something which has made them plenty of enemies in their long, colourful history. The complete opposite of Abeh's religious zealots, worshipping no particular god, it is perhaps surprising then that their main enemy is the humans, who live on Palatania's resource-rich western flank.

Famous for their short, stunted appearance, there are many dwarves who conform to the ruddy face, bushy beard and pot belly stereotype. Of course, there are many who do not as well. Indeed, some dwarves are now pursuing nobler causes than gold. Strong fighters, dwarves make good knights, but the magic of mages often eludes them.

The dwarves have lived in Shyreglen Town for centuries. It is a raucous town full of drinking establishments and rowdy merchants, just as the dwarves would have it.
